Lasermet’s air-cooled beam dump uses convection cooling to absorb laser beam energy when connected to a laser beam shutter. This beam dump also comes with a built-in temperature monitor.
The BD-20-AC beam dump is compatible with the single channel laser shutter LS-20 and LS-30. When the shutter is closed, the shutter deflects the incoming laser beam towards its beam dump port.
The dual channel BD-20-AC-DC beam dump is compatible with the SIL-rated laser shutter LS-20SIL and LS-30SIL.

Lasermet’s beam dump is designed for the LS-200 laser beam shutter. A shutter can dissipate about 20W of laser power, but with Lasermet LS-200-BD-HP it can dissipate considerably higher power laser energy.

Beam dumps are designed to be used in conjunction with a suitable laser beam shutter. When the shutter is closed, the incoming laser beam is deflected towards its beam dump port.
