After years of development, Lasermet is ready to unveil RealTime LSS – the online
tool performing laser safety calculations to IEC 60825-1: Safety of Laser Products
Part 1. RealTime LSS has a full suite of features including the computation of laser
class, Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE), Accessible Emission Limits (AEL),
and even determining the required rating for laser safety eyewear for all kinds of
laser sources.
This tool is particularly beneficial for safety officers, engineers, and laser
manufacturers, helping them save time, reduce risk, and maintain compliance. With
the launch of RealTime LSS, Lasermet reaffirms its commitment to delivering
innovative solutions for the modern laser safety market.
The initial rollout of the software is slated for late January 2025 to Lasermet’s
distributor network and select clients.
